Sekolah Paradisa Cendekia is a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. This means the school is on its way to becoming a fully authorized PYP school. The school has undergone the process of candidacy phase and working earnestly towards full authorization. Sekolah Paradisa Cendekia looks forward to an enduring and exciting journey as we explore inquiry through the lens of diverse local and global engagements. The concept-driven curriculum will best prepare our students for successful future leaders thereby creating a better world.
As a learning community, the PYP’s concept driven and inquiry-based approach provides students with the strategies and tools to become successful global citizens imbued with core Islamic values. Its focus is on developing learner attributes and dispositions preparing students for ever-changing world and global challenges.
The focus of the PYP framework is aligned with Sekolah Paradisa Cendekia vision to become ‘the best Indonesian educational institution in nurturing noble leaders for a better world’. Through relevant and challenging programs, Sekolah Paradisa Cendekia inspires learners to become inquiring, high-achieving and open minded world leaders carrying out the beauty of Islamic values as their way of life.
The school pedagogical leadership and our faculty have been working to best implement the Primary Years Programme from grade 1 to grade 5 through the lens of transdisciplinary themes that is transformative to assert the key elements of the programs.
